Kenai Fjords National Park
Sweeping from rocky coastline to glacier-crowned peaks, Kenai Fjords National Park encompasses more then 600,000 acres of pristine wilderness on the southeast coast of Alaska's Kenai Peninsula. Remnants of past glacial activity are all around. The Harding Ice fields can be found in Kenai Fjords National Park. The Harding field is the largest such field in the U.S.
Boat tours are an excellent way to view the majestic scenes available in Kenai Fjords National Park. Flight seeing tours offer views only accessible from the air, and are always a rewarding experience.
The activity of glaciers, earthquakes, and storms is apparent in Kenai Fjords National Park. Orcas, otters, puffins, bear, moose and mountain goats are just a few of the numerous animals that make their home in this place where the ocean meets the mountains.
