Alaska Ling Cod
Alaska Ling Cod have been gaining more and more attention in recent years.
While largely overshadowed by trout and salmon in the past, the Ling
Cod has become a popular target of Alaskan anglers.
The current record for a Ling Cod in Alaska is 81 pounds, six ounces. With
fish frequently growing to over fifty pounds, they make an excellent candidate for trophy
catches.
Halibut
Cove Lodge offers access to a host of fishing opportunities, as well as a host of
other activities. Located across Kachemak Bay from Homer, our lodge is in close proximity
to the salt water homes which the Ling Cod make, as well as the freshwaters where salmon
(among many others) make their residence.
Remember to bring your camera with you to Halibut Cove. You'll want to take plenty of fishing photos, among others, to remember the fun you had while visiting us in Alaska.
